The selected candidate will maintain and coordinate vital safety data, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations while identifying trends and recommending measures to improve workplace safety performance.

Responsibilities

Assists with the review, development and implementation of interpersonal plans

Assists with the analysis of internal and external practices

Prepares and maintains trend analysis reports on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program performance data

Supplies to recommendations for new or revised programs

Assists in the development and coordination of policies, processes and services with internal organizations

Follows the record-keeping process for collecting and maintaining records of occupational injuries and illnesses in accordance with U.S. recordkeeping requirements

Processes information received from Disability Management Representatives

Applies OSHA exceptions to ensure accurate recordkeeping

Ensures all time loss and restricted days are recorded in accordance with regulations and internal legal mentorship

Participates in meetings to review injury cases that require further investigation

Applies company recordkeeping system to accurately reflect details of injury, lost/restricted time, etc

Collaborates with team members to meet annual OSHA Log posting requirements

Stays in sync with records and data management practices
