Responsibilities

Willing and able to be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and to remain deployed for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States

An understanding of the emergency management system and how jurisdictions coordinate together during large-scale incidents

The ability to provide summary products for leadership

Researching complex issues and presenting outcomes and insights to a supervisor or large audience

Implementing incident objectives with a diverse set of agencies and stakeholders

The ability able to remain calm and poised under pressure, work successfully on multiple priorities simultaneously, and remain focused when working under tight deadlines

Required

A bachelor's degree or a higher level degree

At least five (5) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field
