The role involves providing technical support, generating documentation, and contributing to customer service success by resolving complex issues.

Responsibilities
Travel to Customer Sites:
Troubleshoot and repair client products as needed
Install new equipment and retrofits, including design improvements
Provide technical support for installation and repairs via phone or email
Generate technical bulletins, repair manuals, and provide detailed trip reports
Adhere to all company policies, safety practices, and provide feedback to management
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC controls, servo systems, PLCs, automation, and mechanical systems (e.g., machine tool theory, hydraulics, pneumatics)
5+ years of prior experience with machine tools
Proficient in precision measuring and diagnostic equipment (laser, ball bar, micrometers, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Basic mechanical and electrical skills
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Proficiency with PC tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Basic knowledge of hand tools, electrical/mechanical devices (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, forklifts)
Preferred
FANUC CNC experience
Okuma-Howa product knowledge
Technical writing experience
