Market Research

Responsibilities

Creating a consultative strategy to target new clients within the CPG (beauty, food & beverage, home & personal care) space
Identifying and prospecting key decision makers within marketing and research divisions to understand their specific consumer insights needs
Delivering exceptional sales results against net-new revenue target on a quarterly basis
Traveling to clients for face-to-face meetings in addition to holding Zoom conversations, discussing the benefits and impact Mintel’s data can bring to their business

Required

At least three years of experience in consultative solutions-based selling
Proven track record of delivering return on investment and achieving sales targets
Excellent closing and prospecting skills
Comfortable making cold and warm introductions over the phone, in-person and via email
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Ability to sell solutions to the C-suite
Practical and technical skills, knowledge, and experience related to sales and customer service
Ability to initiate sales meetings and identify potential sales opportunities
Ability to pitch products and network at high levels within prospects
Ability to adapt to different personalities and levels within an organization
Commitment to personal growth and development
Naturally curious and great at navigating client conversations
Ability to ask second and third level questions to understand clients' challenges and goals
High emotional intelligence and pragmatic optimism
Self-directed with a self-sufficient work ethic
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
Polished verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening skills and ability to know the audience
