Responsibilities
Review and process incoming credit applications
Manage all accounts NYSLA & other state liquor control compliance guidelines
Maintain and update credit hold lists
Make daily collection calls to overdue accounts
Resolve customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account status
Provide invoice copies and statements upon request
Investigate and resolve short payments and deductions
Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and external regulations
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to support order approvals and account management
Maintain accurate records of credit activities and decisions
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or higher
1–3 years in credit operations, accounts receivable, or financial analysis
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Attention to details and high personal standards of performance
Effective selfmanagement skills, specifically time management
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and coworkers, both in the office and virtually
Preferred
Experience in the wine, beverage, or distribution industry
Knowledge of trade credit practices and customer account management
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
