Prototyping Technician (Engineer)

Corvid Technologies is seeking a creative, hands-on technician/engineer to join our Strike Systems team based in Mooresville, NC. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the conception, development, and fabrication of functional electronic and mechanical prototypes and devices, assisting in testing prototype munitions.

Responsibilities

Assist in fabricating various prototype structures and devices, including both electrical and mechanical components/systems

Assist in setup, execution, and data collection for energetics testing efforts

Maintain a culture of safety, following protocols and ensuring proper handling of materials

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to achieve project goals

Produce rapid concepts and prototypes, applying creative thinking & technical ingenuity to deliver "products"

Required

Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet ability to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Position requires at least a High School Diploma - but all levels of education will be considered (all levels of education will be considered)

An ability to travel is required, typically short, planned trips to test facilities to assist the offsite test team

Demonstrated problem solving skills, typically involving prototyping or engineering fixes for mechanical related systems (ordnance or similar technologies is a plus)
