Packaging Machine Operator I

The Willamette Valley Company is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator I to operate and maintain machinery in a manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring the machine runs continuously, making necessary changes for production, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

Keep machine running continuously
Make all necessary machine changes to accommodate the size of tubes being produced
Clean machine daily
Stay current and knowledgeable on piping system
Trouble-shoot any problems that may arise with the equipment
Perform set-up and change over on all filling machines
Make sure appropriate materials are in the right machines
Research and recommend product improvements
Ability to demonstrate and learn the following levels
Product Package Assembly
Blister Seal / Alignment Inspection
Container Inspection
Date Code - Batch Number Processing
Tube/Cartridge QC Inspection
Scrap Separation & Documentation
Cardboard Waste Disposal
Maintain clean and safe work space
Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of six (6) months related experience and / or training in a manufacturing / production environment
OR equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
