Inventory Associate II

The Inventory Associate II will manage the receipt, distribution, and storage of food service and vending equipment, ensuring accessibility and accountability while supporting the Business Enterprises Program.

Responsibilities

Receiving, distributing, and storing Business Enterprises (BE) food service and vending equipment
Assigning duties to the warehouse assistant
Assigning asset tags and entering received equipment into inventory
Distributing equipment in accordance with ongoing projects or operational needs
Storing equipment to ensure accessibility, accountability, and future use
Identifying equipment for surplus and coordinating disposal on a monthly basis
Scheduling delivery and setup of newly acquired equipment with vendors, including operator training when necessary
Arranging pickup of equipment that is broken, no longer needed, or no longer in use
Responding to requests from BE Consultants when equipment requires replacement
Maintaining accurate records of all new equipment and supplies for performance evaluation and warranty follow-up

Required

High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and three (3) years of related experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, and other equipment used to move materials
Must have the ability to drive a 26-foot truck
Must be able to safely lift more than 50 lbs
Must be able to sit, squat, lift, bend, kneel, climb stairs, lay down as needed for the job

Preferred

Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse environment
Experience in the vending and/or food service industry
Experience, through professional or lived involvement, working with or supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired
