Electrical & Electronics Engineer II (Onsite)

Responsibilities

You will assist in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line
You will complete drawings, designs, electrical schematics, and wirelist / BOMs as required
You will troubleshoot and resolve electrical devices problems and day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption to production in a manufacturing environment
You will design major components or major portions of functional systems, technically advanced prototype test systems, and promotional or specific products using computer design and engineering systems
You will develop supporting data and makes layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals to leadership

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
2+ years of experience developing avionics test solutions

Preferred

Strong understanding of Electronics and Electrical design
Strong background in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Familiarity with CAD modeling software, preferably SolidWorks or Creo
Familiarity with standard avionics busses including 1553, ARINC, CAN, RS485, RS232, and 1394
Familiarity with ALM JIRA project management (Agile)
Able to function at a high-level with multiple tasks and projects, and to effectively change direction based upon business needs
