PDC Quality Compliance Engineer (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Participate and lead process improvement initiatives/projects to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness by utilizing Customer Orientated Results and Excellence (CORE) tools
Collect/compile data and drive continuous improvement initiatives in reaction to non-conformances/escapes and in support of reduced cost and lead-time
Facilitate the development of root cause and corrective action for non-conformances/compliance issues as well as review and approve CARs in ETQ
Coordinate and conduct site internal and external audits
Maintain audit records and manage/track/follow up on associated corrective actions
Collect and analyze process data, transform into meaningful information shared with management (i.e., control towers, corrective action board, etc.)
Demonstrate high level of customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teamwork and communication skills
Adjust to shifting schedule priorities and perform other work associated duties as assigned. This position may require weekend availability as needs arise
Ability to travel up to 15% is domestically and internationally is required

Required

Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years quality experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, and/or defense OR a Master's degree with 5 years of experience
Previous quality auditing experience in a highly regulated business environment (ex. healthcare, aerospace, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals)
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, work instructions, FAI reports and other relevant detailed instructions
Experience working with root cause corrective action tools
Fully Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc
U.S. citizenship (exclusive of dual citizenship) is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program

Preferred

AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate
AS9100 & AS13100 Familiarity
Experience with SAP and Solumina
Engine Assembly & Test experience
Familiarity with P&W/RTX Procedures and Processes
JCL2 Certification
Demonstrated ability to interface and deliver presentations with all levels of management and external customers (DCMA, FAA)
