Responsibilities
Defend insureds assigned by carriers in general liability and complex insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
Conduct depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Develop case strategy and provide coverage-related insight where appropriate
Communicate directly with carriers, insureds, and claims professionals
Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice groups and offices
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of true insurance defense experience (carrier-assigned work required)
Background in general liability, premises liability, Labor Law, or related defense matters
Strong litigation, deposition, and motion practice skills
NY Bar admission required
Team-oriented, proactive, and interested in long-term growth within a national firm
