Responsibilities
Lead the firm’s core finance operations across its entities, ensuring high-quality, timely financial information as the platform grows
Own and continually improve close and reporting processes, balancing control with efficiency
Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team, creating clear structure, accountability, and progression
Act as a senior point of judgement on accounting and reporting matters, supporting leadership on both routine and non-routine issues
Oversee inter-entity activity, allocations, and balance sheet integrity as structures and activity expand
Partner with senior stakeholders on finance considerations linked to growth initiatives and operational change
Help design and implement systems, processes, and workflows that support a scalable finance platform
Work closely with colleagues across investment, operations, and external advisors to ensure finance is well integrated into the business
Qualification
Required
12+ years' experience across accounting, financial reporting, or controllership within financial services
Background may come from asset management, banking, credit, insurance, or other complex financial institutions
Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, ideally in growing or evolving environments
Strong technical foundation with the confidence to apply judgement as complexity increases
CPA qualification required
Comfortable operating in a lean, hands-on role with visibility across the business
Clear communicator with a collaborative, pragmatic approach
