Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive, financial plans that drive measurable outcomes for participants within Empower’s dedicated service model
Lead proactive, needs-based conversations to uncover client goals and position appropriate Empower products and services that support their objectives
Provide education and actionable guidance on topics such as managed accounts (My Total Retirement), rollovers, investment allocations, savings strategies, HSAs, and retirement income planning
Act as an Investment Adviser Representative for Empower Advisory Group, offering tailored investment recommendations and leveraging Empower’s managed account platform
Apply the CONSULT model to build trust and guide participants toward clear financial decisions
Conduct outreach to current and former providers to facilitate client-directed transactions and ensure seamless implementation
Document interactions accurately and efficiently using Salesforce and other internal systems
Contribute to a culture of learning by sharing insights, strategies, and success stories with your peers
Deliver a high-touch, ongoing service experience that supports clients before and after retirement

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation required
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations required
FINRA fingerprinting required
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or the 401(k) industry
At least 2 years of direct financial planning experience
Proven ability to analyze and communicate a client's complete financial picture, including investments, insurance, tax strategy, education planning, retirement, and estate considerations
