Responsibilities
Assemble and maintain case related documents, and draft pleadings and correspondence
Coordinate trial preparation, provide support to attorneys at court, and manage and organize client forms in firm’s database
Assist with the preparation of filings, cite-checking, and online research
Ensure all case files are well organized, easily accessible, and properly distributed to all relevant parties
Conduct legal research through both online platforms and libraries
Perform other duties as assigned and assist the supervising attorney in special projects when needed
Qualification
Required
At least five (5) or more years of litigation experience
Prior work on international trade and intellectual property litigation matters required
Bachelor's degree is a must
Extensive knowledge of law/legal processes
Ability to prioritize seamlessly, organize workload and an eye for detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced tech skills relating to legal software such as Lexis Nexis/Westlaw, PACER, EDIS, USPTO, timekeeping platforms
Highly proficient in Microsoft products
Available to work overtime and travel as required
