Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to own the predictive core of their technology. The role involves designing and training models that translate raw neural signals into actionable life-saving alerts, focusing on building from scratch and applying advanced Computer Vision architectures to complex time-series data.

Responsibilities

Model Development: Build, train, and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) from scratch to detect pre-ictal states in EEG data
Pipeline Architecture: Design end-to-end ML pipelines on AWS or GCP, ensuring efficient data ingestion and model deployment
Signal Processing: Implement advanced preprocessing techniques for high-frequency neural signals to maximize model performance
Strategic Innovation: Stay at the forefront of ML research, evaluating and implementing novel architectures to improve prediction lead times and accuracy

Required

3+ years of professional ML experience in an industry setting (preferential to academic-only backgrounds)

Hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for ML workloads

Preferred

Direct experience with EEG or ECoG signal processing is highly desirable
