Responsibilities
Develop and refine advanced solid models for comprehensive engineering analysis and validation, ensuring design integrity and performance
Review and annotate inspection and repair documentation, providing detailed comments and graphics to facilitate clarity and understanding
Contribute to the creation of technical documentation that outlines engineering requirements for repairs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to facilitate accurate and efficient data exchange, promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation
Interpret and analyze complex technical data to support informed engineering decisions and drive continuous improvement in design processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with 8+ years of experience, preferably in gas turbine design and analysis
Proficient in reading and interpreting part blueprints, with a strong familiarity with ASME Y14.5M standards
In-depth understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
Able to navigate and use MS Office and experience in creating detailed engineering documentation
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions
Must meet requirements under ITAR and EAR regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status)
Preferred
Extensive experience with Pratt & Whitney Aerospace products and systems is preferred
Familiarity with GTF Engine Compressor/Turbine Rotors hardware and associated technologies
Comprehensive knowledge of gas turbine engine operating theory and performance metrics
Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and best practices
