Responsibilities

Develop and build high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications

Create efficient system architectures using Golang and MySQL

Containerize applications with Docker and deploy solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Engaged in API design and microservices development to build robust, flexible systems

Required

10+ years of overall experience

Minimum of 7 years experience using Golang to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems

Proficiency in Go to develop efficient, scalable backend services

Experience in designing, managing, and optimizing relational databases to support data-intensive applications

Ability to architect complex systems with scalability, reliability, and performance in mind

Expertise in containerizing applications to streamline development, testing, and deployment workflows

Hands-on experience with AWS for deploying, managing, and scaling cloud-based applications

Strong background in designing robust APIs and developing modular microservices for flexible system integration

Proficiency in Git or similar systems for effective source code management

Experience working within Agile or Scrum frameworks to iteratively develop and deliver high-quality software

Knowledge of implementing security measures in both code and infrastructure to protect applications from vulnerabilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and communicate technical concepts clearly

Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred

PHP: Additional experience with PHP for legacy system integration or web development tasks

Healthcare/Payment Industry Experience: Familiarity with the healthcare or payment domains to better understand industry-specific challenges

HIPAA, PII, and PCI DSS Standards: Understanding of regulatory requirements for protecting sensitive data in healthcare and finance

Infrastructure as Code: Experience with tools and practices for automating infrastructure provisioning and management, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
