Qualification
Required
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a related accredited curriculum. Or equivalent experience
Project Management experience
Technical Excellence: Hands‑on proficiency using MATLAB (RF/Comms Toolbox), ANSYS HFSS, and/or Linux OS, and scripting languages such as Python or C++ to support hardware characterization, signal analysis, and system‑level troubleshooting. Skilled in using these tools to validate RF performance, analyze test data, and diagnose hardware issues rather than focusing on software development
Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Experience with hardware. Strong background working directly with microcontrollers, embedded platforms, and/or electronic subsystems, including board‑level bring‑up and interface debugging. Experienced in evaluating and troubleshooting wireless technologies—Bluetooth, satellite, GNSS, and cellular—through hands‑on measurement, protocol analysis, and RF test equipment operation
Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Including technical writing and presentation
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Proven ability to mentor and train others in technical domains
Preferred
6+ years of experience with troubleshooting technical problems in manufacturing and product development environments
Ability to develop organizational policies and best practices conducive to technical excellence
Familiarity with reliability management tools and methodologies for hardware products
Knowledge of mechanical engineering processes as they relate to electronic and communications systems integration
Extensive experience in electronics engineering, including the design, testing, and manufacturing of electronic circuits, components, and devices
Demonstrated expertise in wireless communications systems, radio frequency (RF) engineering, and signal processing
Strong understanding of radio wave propagation, bandwidth and frequency constraints, and signal collection methodologies
