Senior Solutions Architect

Responsibilities
Providing expert end-to-end technical guidance to lead discovery discussions with prospective clients, assess architecture needs for projects, work with technical leads and sellers to create proposals
Leading client workshops; influencing client stakeholders at all levels to find the best architectural outcomes that align to business and technology strategies and initiatives into actionable roadmaps with clear direction on execution to ensure business value and ROI
Developing and contributing to the solution review boards for proposals including oversight for technology assurance, quality and risk evaluation
Establishing and maintaining personal relationship at all levels - from engineers to CIOs - with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach healthy resolutions
Qualification
Required
Minimum 15 years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role
Minimum 5 years of people management experience; experience mentoring, coaching and developing teams
Minimum 5 years of experience in selling professional services; scoping large projects, writing statements of work
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in highly competitive markets
A familiarity with solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process and possess excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities
Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Lakehouse, Ingestion and Transformation technologies, with proven expertise in driving successful sales initiatives within these domains
Strong ability to work across cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering and Professional Services
Extensive expertise in Snowflake and/or Databricks data platforms
Specialized knowledge of and experience with major cloud platforms and it's popular data services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale legacy database technologies (e.g. Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, etc.)
Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g. Hadoop, HBase)
Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
Experience and track record of success selling data and/or analytics solutions to enterprise customers; includes proven skills identifying key stakeholders, winning value propositions, and compelling events
Hands-on expertise expected in one cloud and one data platform
