Responsibilities

Support patent, trademark, and IP litigation matters through all phases, including discovery, depositions, hearings, trial, post-trial, and appellate proceedings
Assist with motion practice, briefing, and filings in state and federal courts, as well as administrative forums
Support post-grant patent proceedings and contested matters before the PTAB and ITC, including AIA trials
Manage discovery workflows, including document review, privilege analysis, deposition summaries, and exhibit preparation
Organize and maintain case files, calendars, databases, and e-discovery systems; coordinate with vendors and trial technology teams
Assist with witness preparation, trial logistics, settlement support, and legal research as needed

Required

MUST have IP or Patent litigation experience
Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification preferred or equivalent experience
Minimum of five years' experience supporting patent or IP litigation in a law firm environment
Hands-on trial experience, including exhibits, witness materials, subpoenas, and courtroom support
Proficiency with e-filing systems, litigation support platforms, and legal research tools (e.g., Relativity, PTAB E2E, PACER/ECF, Lexis, Westlaw)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional judgment and discretion
Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and perform under pressure while maintaining high service standards

Preferred

Paralegal certification preferred or equivalent experience
Experience with document management systems and AI-enabled tools preferred
