Responsibilities

Provide industry and technology insights that lead to accurate, timely project proposals

Use estimating tools to develop job estimates, change orders, and project quotations that meet profit margin standards

Stay up to date on product offerings, pricing structures, and new technologies

Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers and engineering teams to route customer information, advocate for client needs, and support outstanding quotations through follow-up

Document bids clearly, meet submission deadlines, and function as a problem-solver for customers

Assist with delegating tasks based on job scope and labor availability while ensuring customer satisfaction through timely communication and resolution

Required

Strong estimating and quoting skills for components and man-hour/time requirements

Familiarity with software, networking, and control equipment in the industry

Excellent customer service focus with clear and frequent communication

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and estimating tools

The ability to interpret job specifications accurately and ask for clarification when needed

A degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of experience in the controls field
