Responsibilities

Advise on U.S. and U.K. sanctions compliance, including OFAC and BIS frameworks
Lead and conduct third-party due diligence related to cross-border transactions and business partnerships
Counsel clients on government contracts compliance, including procurement integrity, False Claims Act risk, and mandatory disclosure obligations
Support internal and external investigations involving sanctions, export controls, or government contract adherence
Partner with client compliance and legal teams to design and implement robust compliance programs addressing sanctions and procurement risks
Provide strategic guidance on risk mitigation, reporting, and compliance training initiatives

Required

5+ years of legal experience in sanctions, international trade, or government contracts compliance
In-depth knowledge of OFAC, BIS, and U.K. sanctions frameworks
Experience advising on government procurement, federal contracting regulations, and FAR/DFARS compliance
Strong record of managing complex due diligence reviews and advising on cross-border risk
Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction

Preferred

Prior in-house or government experience within regulated industries, defense, or international business operations
Proven ability to develop and maintain practical, scalable compliance programs
Strong analytical, communication, and client advisory skills
Ability to thrive in a project-based, flexible engagement model serving high-profile clients
