LHH is working with a leading regional law firm that is seeking a partner to join their Trusts & Estates group in Chicago. The role involves working closely with other partners on sophisticated transactions and focusing on tax and wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with other Partners across the firm's practice group on a broad range of sophisticated transactions
You will focus on tax and wealth planning for high-net worth individuals and families
Research tax issues associated with various types of transactions including disclaimers, gifts, bequests, lifetime gifts and income tax consequences

Qualification

Estate planning experienceLicensed to practice in IllinoisBusiness development skillsNetworking skillsAcademicsPortable book of business

Required

Minimum of 7 years of estate planning experience
Excellent academics
Licensed to practice in Illinois
Strong business development and networking skills
A portable book of business is required
