Responsibilities
Originate venture debt and growth lending transactions ranging from $10MM–$50MM, with the ability to bring in larger opportunities that can be co‑underwritten with a middle‑market partner
Source deals primarily from sponsor‑backed companies, as well as select public companies and founder‑backed growth businesses
Leverage an existing network across sponsors, venture firms, technology investors, founders, and CFOs to drive high‑quality deal flow
Work independently as a self‑starter - this role is designed for someone who thrives without micromanagement and can execute autonomously
Represent the firm in the market, maintaining a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and industry credibility
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of experience originating venture debt or growth lending transactions
Strong track record of sourcing and closing loans above $10MM - this is a core requirement
Deep sponsor, venture capital, and technology ecosystem relationships
Self‑driven, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in an environment with limited oversight
