Responsibilities
Execute RNAseq library preparation and QC using instruments such as TapeStation and Qubit
Prepare sequencing libraries and operate SBS platforms, including basic troubleshooting
Perform multiplexed ligand-based assays (e.g., Luminex)
Conduct functional experiments using primary human immune cells, including stimulation and culture
Perform routine molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction and nucleic acid QC
Accurately document experimental procedures, data, and samples in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
Troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols independently and collaboratively
Interpret experimental data and communicate findings to internal scientific stakeholders
Partner with computational biologists and data scientists to generate and interpret RNAseq datasets
Support cross-functional discovery activities in a matrixed research environment
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with RNAseq workflows, including library preparation and quality control
Experience handling PBMCs, primary human cells, and/or tissues
Background in biology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related scientific discipline
Experience performing ligand-based assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Luminex)
Strong foundation in molecular biology and/or genomics
Hands-on experience with RNAseq library preparation and QC workflows
Experience handling primary immune cells and PBMCs
Proficiency with ligand-based immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex)
High attention to detail with strong documentation practices
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with end-to-end bulk RNAseq library preparation and sequencing
Familiarity with 10X Genomics platforms (scRNAseq and/or scATACseq)
Experience with complex immune cell cultures and stimulation assays
Exposure to R or other data analysis tools
Prior immunology-focused research experience
