Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with user representatives (traders, risk, operations personnel, etc.) to gather and document business requirements
Conduct and document impact and gap analyses
Evaluate IT solutions to determine the best fit for business needs
Develop detailed functional specifications for IT development teams
Define and execute test scripts
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Engage in project scoping and planning, progress reporting, and the identification and management of issues and risks, ensuring effective communication throughout
Provide day-to-day support for Booking, Risks and Back Office applications, including booking, risk and P&L, straight-through processing, settlement, clearing, reporting, and accounting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business analysis within the finance industry
Functional understanding of Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending activities and products from trading/pnl and risk perspective
In-depth knowledge and experience with Equity trading systems (Sophis or equivalent like Murex, Calypso), including PnL and risk management
Familiarity with trading systems such as Smart Loan, Loanet, and Broker Dealer systems (e.g., Phase 3/Shadow Suite)
Proficiency in SQL
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, coupled with the ability to propose effective solutions to complex problems
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies
