Responsibilities
Lead a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and data teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data products
Architect, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Databricks, SQL, and dbt
Ensure best practices in data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior team members
Drive continuous improvements in data engineering processes, tools, and automation
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of recent hands-on development experience in dbt, Databricks, or SQL
6+ years of total experience in SQL development, including writing complex queries and performance tuning
Strong experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and designing scalable data pipelines
Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, Parquet)
Solid understanding of modern data engineering concepts and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong team leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring engineers
Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
