Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative research in cyber security and network analysis in support of national defense and security missions

Designing and executing applied research projects

Analyzing complex cyber and networked systems

Developing models and analytical tools to assess threats and vulnerabilities

Translating research findings into actionable insights for policy, operational, or strategic stakeholders

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Contribute to technical reports and briefings

Support the organization’s mission by advancing innovative, evidence-based approaches to cyber defense

Travel to customer sites to support in-person engagements

Coordinate, shape, and execute Business Development activities

Writing and evaluating proposals for independent research and development (IRAD) as well as externally funded research activities

Actively participate in strategy development of the overall group

Mentoring staff of varying career levels

Qualification

Required

A minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 years with a Master's degree, a PhD with 5 years' experience, or equivalent experience is typically required for an employee at this level

Thorough understanding of wireless network, protocols

Demonstrated research in the area of Wireless Network performance
