Responsibilities
As the DevOps - Platform and Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and scalability of the entire cloud infrastructure
Manage and administer a multi-account AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Oversee and maintain multiple EKS clusters, handling deployments with ArgoCD and Helm
Lead the efforts in logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system reliability
Own and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with developers
Support the development team with their infrastructure needs, acting as a true platform enabler
This role is hybrid, and involves 2-3 days a week working within secure facilities (SCIFs) in the DC area, and 2-3 days at home
You’ll be responsible for deploying high-side infrastructure in classified, air-gapped environments where security and reliability are the top priorities
Qualification
Required
Experience working within spacetech, or highly regulated industries such as government, finance, or healthcare
Active TS Clearance required; will consider candidates with a current TS/SCI from a different agency eligible for reciprocity
2+ years of professional experience in a Platform, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role
Deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Strong knowledge of managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
Familiarity with GitOps workflows and packaging applications using Helm charts or ArgoCD
Proficiency with CI/CD, preferably GitLab
Scripting and automation skills using Python or Bash
AWS experience - GovCloud preferred
Preferred
Experience with observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus
Previous work in the space industry
