Responsibilities
Drive the SAP data services initiatives: scope, roadmap, milestones, risks, and benefits realization for SAP BW/4HANA and SAP initiatives from data lens specific to data extraction for analytics
Lead requirements & backlog: elicit, translate, and prioritize business and technical needs; maintain a transparent backlog and release plan
Manage dependencies across SAP functional domains (e.g., OTC, PTP, R2R), integrations, and downstream consumers to ensure synchronized delivery
Partner with Data services Engineering team (primarily centered around BW/4HANA for data extraction from SAP sources) to plan and prioritize and remove delivery blockers
Engage stakeholders: run steering/working forums, communicate status and decisions crisply, and secure alignment with business sponsors and SMEs
Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and progress towards project goals
Strong product‑management toolkit: Discovery, requirement elicitation, prioritization, story mapping, acceptance criteria, and roadmap management. Experience coordinating across engineering, functional teams, and data consumers; excellent communication and executive stakeholder management
Nice to have (Azure): collaborate on data pipelines in ADF, patterns for ingestion/transform, and analytics enablement across Synapse/Databricks/Fabric. Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging team members to share ideas and solutions
Qualification
Required
Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in the SAP ecosystem, specifically with SAP BW/4HANA and SAP, S/4 transformations and enterprise data
Ability to blend program delivery excellence with product-management rigor including requirements elicitation, prioritization, and dependency management
Experience driving stakeholder alignment across business, engineering, and data consumers
Ability to scope, roadmap, milestones, risks, and benefits realization for SAP BW/4HANA and SAP initiatives from a data perspective
Experience leading requirements & backlog management: eliciting, translating, and prioritizing business and technical needs; maintaining a transparent backlog and release plan
Experience managing dependencies across SAP functional domains (e.g., OTC, PTP, R2R), integrations, and downstream consumers
Experience partnering with Data services Engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and remove delivery blockers
Experience engaging stakeholders through steering/working forums, communicating status and decisions clearly, and securing alignment with business sponsors and SMEs
