The Project Engineer role involves delivering engineering projects, acting as a technical interface, and ensuring projects are completed safely and on time while identifying opportunities for additional works.

Responsibilities
Deliver engineering projects from initial enquiry and concept through to installation, commissioning and handover
Act as the technical interface between customers, internal engineering teams, suppliers and site operations
Support pre-sales and tender activity, providing technical input, scoping, feasibility and cost support
Attend customer meetings, site surveys and technical reviews
Produce and manage technical documentation, specifications, drawings and project plans
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards
Identify opportunities for additional works, upgrades or value-added solutions during project execution
Qualification
Required
HNC / HND or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline
Experience delivering projects within heavy engineering, metals, manufacturing or industrial plant environments
Exposure to customer-facing engineering roles, technical sales support or tendering
Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to discuss technical solutions with customers
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working in a site-based, operational environment
