Responsibilities

Act as a technical advisor and sales partner for advanced composite materials
Support spec approvals, material qualification, and application development
Drive growth in aerospace, defense, ballistics, and other high-performance markets
Sell and support:
Prepregs (carbon fiber, glass fiber, aramid; epoxy & BMI systems)
Composite manufacturing solvents (acetone, MEK, IPA, ethanol, xylene)
Work closely with engineering, R&D, and procurement teams
Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and application support
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet performance and regulatory requirements
Manage territory performance, account planning, and revenue growth
Stay current on materials innovation, industry standards, and market trends

Qualification

Required

3+ years in technical sales, materials engineering, or product development
Strong knowledge of advanced composites (carbon fiber, aramid, thermosets, thermoplastics)
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or high-performance composite programs
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and credibly
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials, Composites, or related field
Experience with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or defense contractors
Exposure to SAP, Sales Cloud, or similar systems
Experience with technical documentation and compliance-driven environments
