Litigation Paralegal

In this role as a Paralegal, you will work closely with a talented attorney in providing litigation support, including preparing legal documents and interfacing with clients and administrative agencies.
Legal
Responsibilities
Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda
Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
Interface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOC
E-file court documents in federal and state court
Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses
Draft and serve summons
Coordinate depositions
Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits
Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court
Interfacing with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery
Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courts
Qualification
Required
At least 2+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
General Litigation Experience, preferably in federal court
Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Not remote eligible
Preferred
Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program
