Responsibilities

Identify, prioritize, and drive process improvement opportunities across manufacturing and support operations
Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity modeling to inform labor planning and operational decisions
Design and optimize facility layouts, material flow, work instructions, and standard work to improve productivity and consistency
Partner closely with Operations, QA, Food Safety, and Safety to ensure improvements are practical, compliant, and sustainable
Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects, from problem definition through implementation and follow-up
Translate data into clear recommendations, business cases, and action plans for leadership
Serve as a project lead on major improvement initiatives, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables
Coach and mentor other Industrial Engineers and team members on IE tools, lean concepts, and structured problem solving
Develop and deliver presentations, training sessions, and visual tools that support change adoption on the floor

Required

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations excellence
Strong working knowledge of time studies, layout optimization, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing principles
Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
Comfort working in fast-paced, production-focused settings — this is not a desk-only role
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (AutoCAD or layout tools a plus)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across levels of the organization
A practical mindset - you can balance data, constraints, and people to drive results
