Responsibilities

Design highly available, scalable infrastructure in Azure Environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) to manage environments consistently

Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to measure system health

Lead on-call rotations, respond to production incidents, and conduct blameless post-mortems to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR) through process improvement and automation

Identify repetitive operational tasks and automate them using Python, Go, or Bash

Build and optimise continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD to enable safe, frequent deployments

Required

3-8+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience

Demonstrated expertise with Azure (certification preferred but not required)

Expert-level proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools. Strong understanding of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management

Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or equivalent). Ability to design meaningful SLOs and SLIs

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Understanding of containerised application deployment and orchestration

Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages for automation tasks and infrastructure tooling

Experience building, optimising, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Git-based workflows
