Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the Accounting, AP, and Payroll teams, ensuring high performance and operational excellence
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Manage financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls
Partner with the VP of Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Own NetSuite administration and system optimization for finance workflows
Support audits and external reporting requirements
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and scalability across finance operations
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive experience in private accounting or 5+ years in public accounting
Prior management/leadership experience required
Strong proficiency with NetSuite
Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial operations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Proactive, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
Preferred
Background in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences strongly preferred
