Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers through design, development, testing, and deployment phases
Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable technical designs
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and CI/CD best practices
Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, and DevOps teams to align technical execution with business goals
Mentor developers and foster a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement
Design and implement robust backend services using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC
Oversee full-stack web development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
Manage API architecture (RESTful services) and integration with external systems (payment gateways, CRMs, and government APIs)
Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across multi-tenant environments
Contribute to architectural modernization initiatives, including cloud-native design and event-driven microservices
Oversee data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedure design in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Collaborate with AWS engineers to implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure
Support DevOps processes for automated build, deploy, and monitoring pipelines
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework Core
Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and web UI development
Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases
Understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, ECS, Lambda)
5+ years of experience leading software development teams or projects
Proven ability to manage and mentor developers in a fast-paced, agile environment
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables and deadlines
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable navigating complex requirements and ambiguous technical challenges
Preferred
Familiarity with microservices, API-first design, and PWA architecture
Experience in GovTech or Public Sector SaaS platforms
Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT) and data privacy frameworks
Experience with performance tuning, load testing, and multi-tenant scaling
Exposure to CI/CD using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
