Responsibilities
Collaborate with operations teams to prepare unit cost budgets and forecasts
Analyze performance variances and meet regularly with teams to ensure accuracy of actual cost data and projections
Update and maintain equipment and material cost rates used for internal allocations
Monitor unit costs and investigate significant variances
Prepare periodic cost reports and ad hoc financial analyses
Support monthly percent-complete calculations, journal entries, and documentation
Provide financial updates to the Finance team on operational forecasts, ensuring alignment with budgets and projections
Oversee and standardize construction billing functions
Assist the billing department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
Ensure systems and procedures are in place at operational sites for accurate data collection
Monitor project execution and compare actuals to budget for strategic insights
Partner with operations teams to support financial decision-making across all active projects
Manage, review and provide oversight for construction billing department
Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to lead, build trust, and communicate ideas clearly across the company
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience in cost accounting and construction finance
Deep knowledge of US GAAP principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and relational databases
Experience using financial reporting tools
Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
