Electrical Project Manager

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, schematics, and project specifications
Support and work with our Small Projects division providing general construction activities
Provide field leadership, guidance, and mentorship to apprentices and crew members
Ensure all field work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Plan and manage electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout
Create and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and workflow strategies
Track progress, document milestones, and manage change orders
Monitor job costs, productivity, and material usage to keep projects on budget
Maintain consistent communication between office and field teams
Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients for smooth project execution
Perform accurate quantity take-offs for material and labor
Assist with estimating, pricing, budgeting, and proposal preparation
Analyze drawings and specifications to determine scope and potential gaps
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material pricing and availability
Have experience required to become the company RME for our existing C-10 license
Ensure all work meets NEC, state, and local code requirements
Participate in and support inspection processes
Promote job site safety and maintain compliance with company safety policies

Required

Journeyman Electrician certification and/or equivalent experience
4+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial environments
Experience managing electrical projects, jobsite operations, and field crews
Strong understanding of NEC and construction codes
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
Skilled in performing take-offs and supporting the estimating process
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
