Electrical Software Engineer
Brunel is partnering with a respected EPC firm to identify a senior Electrical/Software Engineer for a high-impact role in Offshore and Industrial Automation. This position focuses on designing, programming, and testing electrical and motion control systems for offshore rigs and industrial equipment, combining hands-on engineering with system integration and documentation.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, debug, modify, and test software solutions for electrical systems using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies
Document software development activities through reports, memos, change requests, and other documentation, following approved procedures and standards
Track software development efforts by maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool
Solve engineering problems by analyzing situations and recommending corrective or alternative actions
Analyze, evaluate, and verify software requirements, circuits, and systems using engineering practices
Investigate, research, and select electronic circuits, components, tools, equipment, and practices for software integration
Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality by adhering to the Quality Policy and other documented quality processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Degree: Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Strong hands-on experience with debugging, test circuits, and electronic fixtures
Proficiency in C++, Python, and/or Java for software development
Experience with low-voltage power systems and integrating them with software solutions
