Responsibilities

Project setup support through architectural drawing review, specification review, and proposal drawings

Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts

Ensure support requests are handled in a timely manner while providing an effective resolution of inquiries, issues, and escalations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve challenges

Coordinate project specific mockups for inhouse design confirmation and third-party testing. This may range from manufacturing applications to lab coordination to on-site installation and testing coordination

Navigate shop floor and trouble shoot engineering issues, often providing fabrication guidance through project specific construction standards, sealing standards, and glazing standards

Champion safety, culture, and process improvement

Required

Associate degree in an Engineering related program or 10 years of industry experience in fenestration products

Minimum 5 years' experience in product knowledge, product application, project design, manufacturing, engineering and/or application of architectural glass/fenestration products

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, AutoCAD

Preferred

Bachelors degree in a related field

Understanding of and experience with fenestration product testing, thermal analysis and product design

Experience with Autodesk Inventor, NFRC thermal software and structural analysis software
