Inside Sales Representative
Super-Sod is a trusted name in turfgrass and one of the largest suppliers of sod in the nation. The Inside Sales Representative will provide exceptional customer service to both residential and professional landscaping customers, ensuring a positive experience and assisting with product inquiries and order processing.

Responsibilities
Greets customers as they enter the Super-Sod stores
Operates curbside, counter sales and on the yard as needed
Collects information specific to the customers’ lawn care needs both in-person and over the phone; directs request to appropriate turfgrass professional
Processes orders using Point of Sale system
Assist customers with questions relating to delivery, availability or price discrepancies
Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift
Works closely with Store Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Loaders to provide optimal customer service internally and externally
Communicates with Company Call Center and Service team members through digital internal communications boards
Responds to requests from customers and assists with operational demonstration and handling products weighing up to 50 pounds
Processes product returns and reimbursements according to Company policy and standard operating procedures
Identifies prices and services and tabulates requested quotes using internal pricing software
Communicates with members of other nodes to effectively support customer service and experience
Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports
Maintains storefront, displays and inside working areas to ensure workspaces are clean and accessible by employees and customers
Responsible for upholding a safe culture and work environment at the location
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
Qualification
Required
High school degree and business discipline
Customer Service experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
Preferred
Experience with turfgrass sod and seed in a retail setting
Additional education in turf management, horticulture, or similar field of study
Bilingual skills in English / Spanish are a big plus
