The SIP Developer will design and implement telephony integrations, manage media servers, and develop automation scripts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Design and implement telephony integrations using SIP and SIPREC protocols
Configure and manage media servers (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, RTP Proxy)
Work with SIP proxy servers (Kamailio, OpenSIPS) for call routing and signaling
Build and maintain call recording solutions using SIPREC
Handle WebRTC, RTP streams, and VoIP media processing
Develop automation scripts and services in Node.js, Lua, or Python
Integrate with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)
Deploy and manage solutions in cloud-native environments (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure)
Ensure high availability (HA) and scalability using HAProxy or load balancers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
Proven practical experience with SIPREC for VoIP call recording
Expertise with FreeSWITCH / Asterisk / RTP Proxy (media servers)
Expertise with Kamailio / OpenSIPS (SIP proxy servers)
Strong knowledge of WebRTC, RTP streams, VoIP signaling and media handling
Experience with Node.js, Lua, or Python for telephony-related development
Database experience with Postgres / MySQL
Hands-on deployment experience in GCP, AWS, or Azure
Preferred
Experience with HAProxy, load balancing, and clustering for high-availability setups
