Responsibilities
Prepare Closing Disclosure for approval from lender (purchase/refinance)
Prepare Sellers Closing Disclosure for approval from Seller Atty (purchase/refinance)
Reconcile funds in closing software
Print closing package with requisite ancillary docs (purchase/refi)
Recording requisite documents with the applicable registry of deeds
Open files in shared user drive for purchases, sales, refinances as we receive title orders from vendors and/or signed Purchase & Sale Agreements
Pull pertinent items from the Registry of Deeds for each file opened (current deed, condominium documents, etc.)
Order items in anticipation of closings (Title Exams, Municipal Lien Certificates, Plot Plans)
Track closing deliverables (Deed, Payoffs, Smoke, 6d etc.) for all files - purchase/sale/refi
Answer phones as calls come in
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Real Estate Paralegal
Ability to prepare Closing Disclosures for approval from lender
Ability to prepare Sellers Closing Disclosures for approval from Seller Attorney
Experience reconciling funds in closing software
Ability to print closing packages with requisite ancillary documents
Experience recording requisite documents with the applicable registry of deeds
Ability to open files in shared user drive for purchases, sales, refinances
Ability to pull pertinent items from the Registry of Deeds for each file opened
Ability to order items in anticipation of closings (Title Exams, Municipal Lien Certificates, Plot Plans)
