Responsibilities
Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects at different phases of design and construction
Perform material and equipment takeoffs, obtain vendor pricing, and assign labor factors using estimating manuals
Read and interpret bid documents, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations
Assist in negotiating contracts, change orders, and pricing adjustments as needed
Maintain estimate files and track awarded contracts, including pricing extra work items, procurement, and cost adjustments
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of industrial estimating experience
Proficiency with estimating software (MCAA, Accubid, or similar)
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
