Responsibilities

Leading the Center’s team in the achievement of its strategic mission to support individuals in their desire to get a job, get a better job, or get better at the job they are in
Supporting the workforce needs for area businesses and industry, non-profit organizations and government agencies through the development and delivery of customized training programs
Developing positive relationships and partnerships with businesses and industry, non­ profit organizations and government agencies in support of the workforce needs of individuals and organizations in Morris County
Ensuring a positive student experience through personal efforts and supervision of staff on campus and satellite locations
Managing the development, implementation and evaluation of noncredit courses and programs to meet the employment needs of individuals and businesses
Ensuring the department is a self-supporting area of the college, meeting established revenue targets

Required

5 years of experience in management and/or implementation of education and training programs with a proven track record of fiscal and personnel management and project accomplishment
A Bachelor's degree required

Ability to communicate complex ideas and activities to a broad audience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related programs
Excellent computer skills
Good phone skills
Customer service skills
Attention to detail
Self-motivated
Good communications skills
Ability to work under pressure
Sensitivity in handling confidential information
Familiarity with external funding sources such as state and federal grants

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
