Senior Attorney - Plaintiff Employment – Up to $250k | Los Angeles
We Are Legal Revolution is a collaborative environment with a team of seasoned attorneys, seeking a Senior Attorney specializing in Plaintiff Employment. The role involves managing litigation, drafting legal documents, and maintaining communication with clients and outside parties while ensuring all case deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include litigation, and working on matters such as Class Action, wage and hour and Wrongful Termination. Experience taking depositions, arguing motions, handling arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial is required
Completing first drafts of litigation documents such as administrative discrimination charges, court documents, and other filings and correspondence which put forward relevant facts in a persuasive and compelling manner. Strong written advocacy skills are required
Attend depositions; draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery issues, dispositive motions and trial preparation
Perform in-depth legal research
Communicate with outside parties such as attorneys, employers, law enforcement agents, administrative agencies, etc. as needed
Collaboration with other attorneys and support staff as needed
Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates on case developments as needed
Managing all aspects of cases, ensuring all deadlines are met, staying organized and multi-tasking to achieve priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in California
5 + years practicing Plaintiff Employment Law
Experience taking depositions, arguing motions, handling arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial
Strong written advocacy skills
