Responsibilities
Manages overall patient care operations, overseeing clinical staff (nurses, therapists, etc.), ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant care delivery, managing budgets, handling patient/family concerns, and developing strategic plans for service improvement, all while aligning with hospital goals and regulations with Joint Commission and CMS
Key duties include staff hiring/training, performance evaluation, quality assurance, and fostering a patient-centered environment
Will oversee 3 separate bed units consisting of approx. 75 beds with 3 Nurse Managers, 1 Educator and 1 Manager Quality, and a team of 150 FTE's
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of 5 years nursing experience -Medical surgical, telemetry and acute care nursing
3+ years Nurse management experience
BLS from AHA
Preferred
Master's Degree
Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration
