Responsibilities
Drive the design and implementation of AI-powered products and features that integrate with the Bubble Editor, elevating and evolving how users build with AI
Iterate across the stack to make AI UX intuitive build intuitive and powerful UX for AI features, improve the latency and accuracy of our agent and RAG pipelines, and enhance how the system understands and manipulates Bubble’s proprietary application representation
Build frameworks for evaluating agent performance to power both product strategy and engineering innovation
Translate ambiguous AI challenges into actionable engineering plans, leveraging emergent technologies and experimentation
Shape the direction of AI initiatives in partnership with product, engineering, and design teams to advance the platform’s capabilities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in backend systems at high-growth startups, with AI/ML experience a plus
Strong coding skills with Typescript, Python, or other AI-relevant languages
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with high impact and uncertainty

Preferred
Prior experience with agentic AI workflows and chatbot-style LLM interactions is a plus
