Responsibilities

Understand the market. Engage with customers, uncover unmet needs, analyze trends, track competitors, and serve as the internal voice of the customer
Own product strategy. Define roadmaps, conduct market research, build business cases, and collaborate across teams to drive business impact
Build amazing things. Partner with R&D to manage the product lifecycle from concept through beta testing to commercial launch
Drive growth. Advance strategies to generate revenue from existing services
Make our value clear. Work with Product Marketing to develop go-to-market plans, campaigns, and sales enablement tools that build awareness, generate leads, and empower the Sales team
Help shape the Product Management function. Build frameworks, processes, and resources that improve team efficiency

Qualification

Required

Deep knowledge of modern cloning techniques including Gibson assembly, Golden Gate and Gateway cloning, and gene synthesis approaches
Extensive experience with molecular biology techniques (plasmid/primer design, PCR, transformation, nucleic acid extraction), analysis tools (SnapGene, Benchling, ApE, Geneious), and functional genomics experimental designs such as loss- and gain-of-function screens
A minimum of 5 years' experience launching products or services that deliver clear customer value, including managing the full workflow from sample preparation through data analysis
Proven ability to drive revenue from established products through pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies
Experience influencing and collaborating effectively with customers and internal teams to drive successful outcomes
Expertise in building product roadmaps and managing the full product lifecycle
Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on customer impact
Advanced degree in molecular biology, genetics, or related field (PhD preferred)
Outstanding leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
